Data we collect

Access to the website www.vrtin.hr is free and no registration is required. When you contact us through the contact forms or by e-mail, you provide your details (contact details, first and last name, and in the message you share some information about yourself). This data is available exclusively to Vrt IN, to whom it is addressed, for the purpose of handling your enquiry. Providing your personal data is voluntary. We do not process more personal data than is actually necessary to answer your enquiry.

Protection of your personal data

Vrt IN respects your privacy and processes your personal data fairly and lawfully. We store your personal data in electronic form and, to protect it, apply appropriate technical, organisational and staffing measures and procedures to prevent unauthorised access to personal data.

Electronic messages

When you send us e-mail containing personal data by which you can be identified, whether it is an e-mail with a question or a message sent through the contact forms on www.vrtin.hr that reaches us by e-mail, we use that data only to answer your enquiry. We do not process personal data for marketing purposes, and it is deleted from our mail program at the end of the calendar year, unless you have become our client, in which case it is entered into the client database in order to issue an invoice for the agreed service.

Deletion and access to your personal data

We keep the personal data you have made available to us only for as long as is needed to fulfil the original purpose for which it was collected. You are entitled at any time to ask which of your personal data we hold in our e-mail database, and to ask us to change (right to rectification) or delete (right to be forgotten) all or some of it. To do so, contact us at info@vrtin.hr with your request. If you make such a request, we will make reasonable efforts to confirm your identity and prevent unauthorised access to personal data.

Disclosure of personal data to other recipients

We do not pass your personal data on to other recipients. However, on www.vrtin.hr you will find links to other websites. The privacy policies on those sites may differ from the privacy policy of www.vrtin.hr. Our site also links to Vrt IN's social networks (Facebook, Instagram) and contains embedded content from Google Maps and YouTube.

We therefore ask you to read the privacy policies that apply on other websites and social networks.

Embedded content from external services

The site contains a YouTube video and Google Maps maps (Google Ireland Limited). When loaded, these services may collect data about the visitor, such as the IP address, and set their own cookies. That is why we load them only after you give consent in the cookie settings (the "Functionality" category). Until then, a photo is shown instead of the video and a link to Google Maps instead of the map.

The fonts on the site are served from our own server, not by external services. The site does not use visitor tracking or advertising tools.

Security measures

Vrt IN uses technological and security measures, rules and other procedures to protect the personal data of users of this Site against unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, loss or destruction. To keep users' data confidential, Vrt IN uses industry-standard safeguards such as a firewall and password protection. Nevertheless, the user is responsible for making sure that the computer they use is secure and protected from malicious software such as trojans, computer viruses and worms. The user of the Site is aware that without adequate security measures (for example, a secure browser configuration, up-to-date antivirus software, personal firewall software, not using software from suspicious sources) there is a risk that the data and passwords they use to prevent access to personal data may be disclosed to unauthorised third parties.

Protection of minors

This Site is intended for adults. Vrt IN does not collect personal data about minors (defined as persons under 18) without the prior, verifiable consent of their legal guardian. The legal guardian has the right, on request, to review the data provided by the minor and/or to request that such data be deleted.

Limitation of liability

Although we take the available technical, organisational and staffing measures to prevent unauthorised disclosure of your personal data, we cannot guarantee that some of the personal data we collect will never be accidentally disclosed contrary to this Privacy Policy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for damage caused to users or third parties by accidental disclosure of personal data.
