Our range

Highlights from our range

How we grow

From seedling to tree.

  1. 01

    Seedling

Plants begin life as young seedlings, in the greenhouse or outdoors, sheltered from wind and strong sun.

  2. 02

    Repotting

As they grow, we move them into larger pots so the roots have room and strength.

  3. 03

    Care

We water, feed and prune every day. You can tell from the plants when someone looks after them.

  4. 04

    A new home

When a plant is ready, we help you pick a spot for it. If you need, we'll bring it to you.

Hedges

A living hedge instead of a wall.

Photinia, Leyland cypress, privet and cherry laurel grow here in long rows below Buje. Tell us how quickly the hedge needs to grow and how much you want to prune it, and we'll choose the variety together. Autumn is the best time to plant, while the soil is still warm.

Ancient olive trees

Olive trees from 3 to 100 years old.

Young trees aged 3 and 5 years go into new olive groves. Our ornamental olives are 10, 50 or 100 years old and no two are the same, so they're best chosen in person, on a walk through the nursery.

FAQ

Before you visit.

Are you a nursery or a garden centre?

Both. We grow most of our plants ourselves and sell them in the same place, in Buje. You come, have a walk and choose, then take the plant with you or we deliver it.

Can you help me choose a plant?

Of course. Tell us where the plant will grow: how much sun it gets, what the soil is like and how much room there is. Then we'll find the right one together.

Do you deliver plants?

Yes, with our own vehicles throughout Istria, and further afield by arrangement.

Can you plant what I buy?

Yes. We plant hedges, standard trees and ornamental plants.

Which hedge grows the fastest?

Of what we grow, Leyland cypress, photinia 'Red Robin', privet and cherry laurel grow the fastest. How quickly they close off the view depends on the size of the plant, the soil and watering, so describe your site and we'll recommend a variety.

When is the best time to plant a hedge?

In autumn, while the soil is still warm and the rain returns. Spring works too, but then the hedge needs regular watering through the summer.

How old are the olive trees you offer?

Young trees are 3 and 5 years old; ornamental olive trees are 10, 50 and 100 years old.

What if you don't have the plant I'm looking for?

We'll gladly help you find it through our trusted production partners.

When are you open?

In summer, Monday to Saturday 08 – 17 h; in winter, weekdays 08 – 16 h and Saturday 08 – 15 h. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
